As good as modern medical technology is, it can never save you from the problems caused by a life style that is unhealthy. Instead of getting a modern medical fix for every problem, it is far better to live in such a way that you will hardly ever fall ill.

We all know the old saying, “Early in bed, early to rise makes a person healthy, rich, and wise.” I don’t know if that will make you rich,but it will definitely help you have a clear head and mind.

I believe it will certainly make you healthy. Your body needs enough sleep, not much and not too little.

Follow these tips and you can’t go wrong.

WASH WITH COOL WATER BEFORE SLEEPING

I cannot describe how refreshed I feel after a cool bath in the evenings.

I dont just have a cool bath,I poor warm and cool water on my body intermittently .You will be amazed at how relaxed you will feel after the exercise.

As mentioned above, proper sleep is essential for the maintenance of health. If you wash your important motor and sensory organs (hands, arms, eyes, legs, mouth, genitals) before sleep using cool water, this will relax you and prepare you for deep sleep.

ONLY EAT WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY AND CONTROL THE FOOD PORTION

This is also a simple idea, but we often violate the body’s information.

If you eat out of habit at certain times of the day, even if you have no real appetite, you will not be able to digest food properly.

Acidity and indigestion begin, which makes other more complex diseases take root.

Appetite is actually a sign of good health, but if you lose your appetite, you should wait a while before eating. Eating a variety of foods regularly and appropriately is the best formula for a healthy diet lifestyle.

Skipping meals, especially breakfast, can lead to uncontrolled hunger and often lead to helpless overeating. Snacks between meals can help control hunger, but snacks cannot replace meals. For snacks, we can choose yogurt, a small amount of fresh or dried fruits or vegetables (such as carrot sticks), unsalted nuts or some cheese bread.

Paying attention to portion size will help us avoid consuming too many calories .Using small sized plates to eat has helped me in this area.

It is easy to avoid overeating by cooking the right amount of food.
Some reasonable portions are: 100 grams of meat; a piece of medium-sized fruit; half a cup of raw pasta.
Using smaller plates will help smaller portions.
The calorie content of packaged food can help control portion size.
If we go out to eat, we can share part of it with friends

GIVE REST TO YOUR DIGESTIVE SYSTEMS

This is one of the healthy lifestyle changes that a lot of people overlook.

If you were to ask any person to work 365 days a year without any rest, they would complain and demand to have rest, .

But we have never bothered to ask or think about our digestive organs which we put to work every day without rest. They can not protest the way a person would to his boss, but they do give us signals that they cannot work non stop

. If we ignore those signals and still force them to work, those organs breakdown.

Therefore, periodic fasting is necessary. Refrain from eating solid food for one full day.. Try fruits and fluid instead.

Your digestive organs will rest and also helps eliminate waste products from your body. By fasting regularly, a person can get extra time for intellectual or spiritual activities.

Fasting is not just for spiritual purposes only , but is a healthy lifestyle change for physical well being that anyone can practice.

TAKE A LOT OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

Fruits and vegetables give us enough vitamins, minerals and fibre. We should try to eat at least 4 to 5 servings a day.

For example, a glass of fresh fruit juice before and at breakfast, perhaps an apple and a piece of watermelon as snacks, and a good portion of different vegetables at night..

TAKE A LOT OF FLUID EVERYDAY

As adults we need to drink at least 1.5 litres of fluid a day! Or more if it’s very hot or if we are physically active. Water is the best source of fluids for the body .
